I liked the kindness of the staff, always available to assist you and give you best recommendations

The only drawback is that the hotel is located right next to the train station, and the noise from passing trains can be a bit disruptive at times. However, aside from this, the location is absolutely ideal, offering great convenience for travelers.

The location was perfect very near to the city center the staff were very helpful The towels were clean

The pillows were very bad, the bedsheets need to be renovated, the elevator wasn’t safe especially if you have kids and also the rooftop view was perfect but not safe at all as there was a big gap in the floor anyone can fall into

Excellent location

Staff will lie and cheat to con you out of money. Price is LUDICROUSLY high for what you get here as the hotel is ancient and dilapidated.

Stay in Aswan turned into a nightmare thanks to this hotel !

Very near to the station, quite a few restaurants near by. We were offered a trip to Abu Simbel for a very very reasonable price which we took.

The lady at the reception during the day is completely unhelpful. When called and told about a problem she always said 'I'll send someone to fix it' and then no one ever came. The first day we checked in, the temperature outside was 42 degrees and tremendously hot. In the evening we found out that the AC wasn't cooling, it was just blowing hot air. On letting the hotel know, they told us that there were no other rooms available and we had to spend the night without the AC and so we did, didn't have a choice. Next day they moved us to a new room where AC was fine. After couple of times, the flush in the washroom stopped working. On calling the staff, someone came, removed the cistern cover, moved something and it worked again. However, it stopped working again after sometime. Each time I called them, the same thing was repeated. Even the workers knew that there was nothing to fix, it was damaged. Finally I got tired of calling them and did the 'fixing' myself for the next 2 days. On the last day, the washroom began to smell of sewage. The smell grew so strong that it was impossible to use the washroom. We kept the door closed and used it as less as possible. I booked this hotel to save 50 Euros but it turned out to be the worst mistake of my life.

The worst hotel experience I have ever had.

They have booking for Abu Simbel

The sheets were dirty. The room was filthy, floor was covered in dirt, hair blocked the shower drain and the bathroom wreaked of raw sewage.

Conclusion: With a bit of work, this hotel could be a gem. Hopefully management will be sure to take

Location: We took the train in from Luxor so the location was wonderful since it's right next to the train station. It's also convenient to walk from, take cabs, etc.

Considering the cost of the place, the value was definitely not up to par. We initially booked for three nights but decided to change to one night, see if we like it, then go from there. (It took a bit of time on the phone with booking.com + hotel for them to allow the change after a bit of back and forth.) Thankfully, we took this approach. Cleanliness/Presentation: This hotel was truly not the cleanest place to stay. The towels smelled pretty bad, the mattress was not comfortable, the bedsheets were for twin sized beds doubled up for queen, the blanket didn't smell so great...so yeah. not super clean. Which would be acceptable if it was low budget - it wasn't. Food: The breakfast (included) was basically non-existent. We opted for bread with jam. Nothing that was presented seemed fresh or tasty. They were kind enough to bring us a fruit basket one evening but fruit was also stale/old. We still gave them brownie points :) "Concierge": We wanted to plan a trip that they wanted to overcharge us for. It was cheaper than private tours but not appropriate price for hotel tour prices. Luckily we had asked around a bit and were able to avoid it.

Excellent location

The location was right at the center of Aswan, less than 100 meters from the train station and 150 meters from the old market. They allowed a late check-out giving us more time for shopping.

The breakfast was late and not of value for money, I would skip breakfast and go early to enjoy the city and get breakfast from the nearby market.

Great location- 1 minute walking distance from the Railway station. Shops, restaurant, markets are very near. hotel staff Mr. Mohammed (Good person) arranged a private tour to the famous attractions. Complementary welcome drink provided.

not the best option

The place is central: it is very close to the train station, to the main bazar and to the river.

It was expensive for what it was. The breakfast was poor. We had a little inconvenient with the manager because we had booked a trip to Abu Simbel and we couldn't go because my girlfriend fell sick; he wanted to charged us the whole price even though we cancelled the trip. He was rude (the rest of the staff was nice).

- Book Abu Simbel elsewhere, they tried to charge almost double the price other travellers paid. - Expensive for Aswan, it's necessary to bargain if you want a good price here. Aso for some reason they charge in dollars and convert to Egyptian pound with an awful exchange rate.

Cheap... And yes it was "cheap"

They did breakfast boxes... Beds were clean thankfully.

Had to pay by cash... They wouldn't take card used on booking.com? Also the lock to our ion wasn't working so we had to wait for it to be fixed... (Which they did, but should have been done before we arrived)
